Nature baby

Eating sand adds fiber to the diet, right? Jessie is very conscious about meeting her daily quota of sand, dirt and grass. Mom spends a lot of time fishing things out of the mouth.

Start 'em young! We try to take a bike ride nearly every day. Hopefully she'll be ready for her first triathlon by the time she's walking :)

Tormenting her best friend Bella... Jessie crawls all over the house and usually gravitates to the place where Bella is trying to find peace and quiet.

Jessie has discovered that climbing trees is a ton of fun. Dad set her up in this cottonwood tree at the Montezuma Castle indian ruins in Sedona. She would've stayed for hours if we let her!

Summertime!

As you can tell, we got a bit behind on the Willey blog. So here's some of the latest news to catch you up!

Trina's college roomies planned a reunion with our families to the Grand Canyon in April. It was so great to catch up with the girls!

Jessie is now crawling and has 4 teeth! Her favorite pasttimes include laughing, cruising the house for toys, dust bunnies and mom's shoes. She also waves bye-bye and gives kisses.

Jessie's first trip to the zoo wouldn't have been complete without getting to pick a giraffe's nose, er, I mean feed the giraffe a biscuit. She took advantage of the close proximity and extra large nostril to take a sneak attack.

Trina celebrated the big 32 with a night out on the town with friends in the Hummer limo. Here's a rare moment of Neil surrounded by the ladies, he will probably kill me for posting this :)

Springtime Fun

Neil planted a bunch of veggies in the garden this spring, and Jessie enjoys sitting outside and helping dad. Now that she's crawling, it's a different story!

We enjoyed the annual Tucson Rode, and Jessie got to see barrel races, roping and pro bull riding.

Jessie finds the time to swim with her friends as often as possible. She loves the water and usually swims with mom at least once a week. She's now able to put her face in and blow bubbles!
